Meet your teacher
Hello Bobcats! My name is Hannah Kimbler and I am the 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher at MIS. I am beyond excited to start off this school year. I got my Masters in teaching from UNCW with emphasis in Elementary Education. Before my journey of teaching, I was a graphic designer. My passion is 100% with students and making sure their education is valued and that each student is learning and understanding. I believe that each student is special and I want to highlight on those skills that each individual student has, because we are all different, right? I love making students aware of their worth!
Facts about me
I am originally from Ohio, but moved to North Carolina to be closer to family after obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Arkansas. I have an older sister, who I consider one of my best friends. I love my dog Moose who is a Chorkie. What's a Chorkie you ask? He's a mix between a Chihuahua and a Yorkie, he's quite adorable. My favorite colors are hunter green and purple and I would have to say my favorite season is fall. I love every thing about the season! You'll never see me without a cup of coffee. Lastly, favorite artist is Taylor Swift, but I enjoy all music. If you'd like to know anything else about me, please ask!
